Whatever Wednesday

Squeaking in a Wednesday post by the skin of my teeth...it's another random one :)

What I'm Reading:

Just started this book, so I'm only a few pages in, but it's by Pat Conroy and it takes place in Charleston, so it's kind of a no-brainer. I've been doing a terrible job of reading new books here lately. Nothing has really been catching my eye so if anyone has great book recommendations, please send them my way!

What I'm Wanting:

So I realize that Caroline will be in her crib for quite a while still, but I am totally ordering this entire Pottery Barn Kids bedding collection for when we upgrade her to a big girl bed in a few years. I've got my eyes peeled for an antique iron bed for her room.  It's one of those things where I know pretty well exactly what I want so it's just a matter of finding it now. But this quilt, duvet and sheet set is a perfect match to the colors we already have in her nursery, it's monogrammed and it's ruffled....another no-brainer.

How precious is this J Crew pom pom sweater ?! I think I might just need it. Speaking of sweaters, on a side note, all of these people on my Facebook, Twitter and Bloglovin' that are already yammerin' on and on about how fall is totally here or needs to hurry up already are on my last nerve. I love fall as much as the next, but for the love...summer is just now half over! Stop rushing my favorite season and our birthday month!!! Drives.me.batty. #endrant

What I'm Fixing to Make:

The link gives a great tutorial on how to make this one.

This peach lemonade just looks too great to pass up. I'm thinking of doing it for Caroline's birthday party.

What we're Wearing:

I love this Annie Griffin Collection Mimi Tunic.  Grabbed it when it was on  Rue La La for an absolute steal awhile ago and have been using it as a swimsuit cover-up on the boat, but it's super cute paired with white linen pants or jorts (yep, I said it).

I love this bubble I got Caroline from Shrimp and Grits Kids. I'm seriously considering getting it for next summer, too before they run out since it's on sale right now. It does run a bit small through the chest so I will probably size up to a 2T instead of the 24 mo.

Hope y'all are having a happy Hump Day.  By the way, does anyone else just hear that camel commercial in their head everytime it's Wednesday now? GUESS WHAT DAY IT IS???

  1. You read my mind! It is still summer for over 6 weeks. Drives me nuts!

    1. I'm so glad I'm not the only one haha. I'd take summer all year if not for football and Christmas!
