Late Night Dreaming

Y'all, I have fallen head over heels in love...with a house.

Isn't she a beaut? I mean, talk about Southern charm. I've always been a sucker for Greek Revival homes and who could blame me?  Those columns, the symmetry, the front porch. This home is right here in the heart of the Bluegrass state, Lexington specifically.

The interior is just as grand.

I love that to spite being so lovely and updated on the inside, the finishes still feel true to the era in which this home was built. Like the subway tile backsplash for example. I know it's popular now, but the home I grew up in was built in the early 1900's and has subway tile in the bathroom. The classics just never go out of style.

The staircase is understated elegance at it's finest. And boy would Juston love to have himself a home office complete with a pool table...

And just a few from the grounds...wouldn't it be so cool to live in a home where you had a big enough yard to refer to it as "the grounds"? This home comes with nearly 100 acres right smack in the middle of horse country.

If you're a house browser like me, you can view the listing in it's entirety here. And if you end up deciding to purchase, feel free to invite me and my family over anytime :)
